Because we are committed to having each of our products add a benefit to you and your home, our candles are made from locally harvested, 100% beeswax.
100% beeswax candles are the cleanest and longest burning candles you can buy. As they burn, they are the only type of candle that emits negative ions into the air that attach themselves to the positive ions of mold, odors, and allergens in the air, and pulls them to the ground. Exactly the same process occurs when it rains. That is why when you open the door and step outside after a rain storm it smells clean. Because it is!
For optimum results of ours, or any candle, always allow time for the candle to create a melt pool all the way to the edge of the container on the first burn. Figure approximately an hour for each inch in diameter of the candle. Why? Because a candle will only burn as far as you melt the top the first time. If you have ever had a candle that tunneled down the center this is why.
Please note that a candle can be sold as a beeswax candle if it contains as little as 5% beeswax. We hope you chose to insist on the premium quality of a 100% beeswax candle.
